Our Impact

Recognition as a Voice for the Vulnerable
The foundation’s work has earned national recognition, including an Award of Excellence from Ahmadu Bello University and the African Iconic Mentorship of the Year Award.

Almajiri and Orphanage Support
Our foundation regularly visits orphanages and almajiri schools, providing meals, clothing, educational materials, shoes, and hygiene kits.

Vocational Training for Self-Reliance
We have initiated skills acquisition workshops that train young women and men in various trades including tailoring, soap-making, and beadwork.

Medical Outreach for Thousands
Through our community healthcare campaigns, we have provided free medical screenings for conditions like malaria, hepatitis B & C, and other common diseases.

Empowering Over 200 Women and Youths
FATAAB has equipped over 200 women and young people with tools, business kits, and startup capital to foster entrepreneurship.

Over ₦3 Million Disbursed to Widows
In August 2023, during a four-day empowerment program at the Emir of Zazzau’s Palace in Zaria, FATAAB disbursed over ₦3 million to support widows.

More Than 1,500 Families Fed During Eid
Through our seasonal outreach during Eid-el-Fitr and Eid-el-Kabir, we distributed over 1,500 bags of rice and food supplies to vulnerable families.

Inclusive Holiday Giving Campaigns
During religious and national holidays, FATAAB hosts special giving campaigns focused on widows, elderly, displaced persons, and people with disabilities.

Award of Excellence from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria
In acknowledgment of her benevolent services, Hajiya Fatima was conferred with an Award of Excellence by the Student Union Government of ABU Zaria. This honor recognized her commitment to providing quality healthcare and humanitarian services aimed at eradicating poverty and illiteracy.
Commendations from Prominent Philanthropists
Her impactful work through FATAAB has attracted commendations from notable figures such as Alhaji Aminu Dantata and Sheikh Rabiu of the BUA Group. During her courtesy visits, she shared insights into her foundation's objectives, emphasizing efforts to uplift marginalized individuals by facilitating access to education, empowering women, ensuring quality healthcare services, and executing initiatives designed to combat poverty.
Representation at the Independent Newspapers Awards
Hajiya Fatima represented Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, at the 2024 Woman of the Year Award ceremony organized by Independent Newspapers. Her presence underscored her active involvement in national initiatives aimed at empowering women and children across the country.
